The community spirit award is for people who have made an outstanding contribution to the community and are in need of assistance themselves.
March Winner - Emma Kelso gives tirelessly to the domestic violence services in Mount Isa. She runs a Facebook anti-bullying page and has recently had a run of bad luck with her health and major damage to her house. We were pleased to give back to Emma as recognition for her contribution. Well Done Emma and thank you for your hard work.
April Winner - Kathy Hujanen is an active member in the community and gives effortlessly to Mount Isa athletics, school P & C committees, fundraisers and community BBQ’s. She doesn't bat an eye lid when asked to give of her time. We are honoured to be able to give back to this outstanding lady who has had tragedy in her family but still gives back with a smile. Well Done Kathy and thank you for your hard work.

Clancy Corporation is proud to be involved with the Lake Moondarra Fishing Classic. We have sponsored the event since 2012 and have been naming rights sponsor since 2014.
This fantastic marque event held on the last weekend in October proudly showcases Mount Isa and the wonderful community. The event brings together anglers and families alike from across Queensland putting on a display of fun, fishing and community spirit. This event showcases an outstanding fireworks display set over the waters of Lake Moondarra, creating a visual spectacular.
The event is the major fundraising event for the Mount Isa Fish Stocking Group that works tirelessly to stock barramundi and sooty grunter in the lake and gulf river systems.
